Yes I just used the famous lyrics to Katy Perry's "firework" to tell celebrate the Independence of our nation; cliche I know, but it's better then quoting Miley Cyrus's "Party in the USA" is it not? I just wanted to take a little time and say the one thing that I didn't say in my last blog post and that is:
"HAPPY FORTH OF JULY AMERICA"
First time I am actually celebrating with a family member in the military, so it seems a little more worth celebrating; but I wouldn't tell my dad that, nor the brother that is in the Army; this is just better off kept as a secret. (:
Again.
Happy Fourth of July everyone whom celebrates it!

Introductions
Let me start off by saying this is new to me. I have never ever done a blog type of thing, unless you consider Tumblr which consists of a bunch of people just re-posting pictures and GIFs, I really don't consider that a blog; nothing against Tumblr though.
But this is a whole new expirence for me, and I guess I would like to start off my new experience with introducing myself in ways that the "about me" wouldn't let me.
My about me started off like this:
"Black as midst and clear as day writing can be easy or it can be hard, this is something I have come to learn on my journey of becoming a writer. My name is Lauren. I am an eighteen year old high school student. A senior. A writer with a notebook and a dream and this is my journey"
and that is what the point of this whole blog will be. The audience I am hoping for are teenagers. Teenagers that are aspiring to become writers. Teenagers who struggle. You see all of these blog post from older people, people who had the experience but do teenagers have someone to take steps and share their experiences with along their journey? That is my point, I want to go along the journey with you and I'm hoping that you would all want to come along on a journey with me; go through the experiences together. Like I said writing can be easy or it can be hard; but it's never wroth giving up. I've seen so many people give up on what they believe in just because it got hard, and I don't want any of that for you.
I am not only about writing either. Any teenage problem, any teenage struggle; we can discuss it teenager to teenager. A blog for teenagers, to be teenagers.
But before I tell you to put your trust into me I guess it would make more sense to tell you more about myself.
Name: Lauren
Age: 18
Enjoys: Writing fanfiction, hanging out with friends, listening to music, going to concerts
Dreams: Becoming a journalist, or an author of slash novels(meaning guy/guy stories) ♥ ORRR BOTH :D
My life has been a never ending roller coaster.
I have had my share of struggles.
Struggles that are shown on fading scars that are on my wrists.
I was once a shy quiet girl who attempted to do suicide every chance she could possibly get.
Then over the years I finally escaped from the life and the place I was forced to call a home and live the life I always dreamed.
A life were I could be happy.
A life were I can have friends, and go outside.
A life were I can go to school, and not get yanked out to move to yet another city or town.
It took years to get to this point in my life.
It took therapy to get to this point in my life.
It even took sacrifices and change.
Now I am making up for the child hood that I missed.
Eighteen years old, with the mind of a five year old and the; kind of a silly thought, huh?
Writing and the past out of the way lets get to some of the funner things.
Favorite TV Show: Glee wasn't always my favorite TV show. It was one thing that I could not stand what so ever. I couldn't stand hearing about it and all of it's hype until one day I was just going through the chanells on the TV around Christmas time and came across an episode of GLEE with two MEN singing "Baby It's Cold Outside" and it just caught my interest so much, for a television show to do that it just made me beyond happy because gay/equal rights has been something I have always been supporting and for a show to do that it just made me open my eyes towards the show and I grabbed my hands on the first and what they have of the second season on DVD and watched it from the beginning and fell instantly in love.

If there is a person who has inspired me most in my life it would be this man directly to my right. Adam Lambert. He was the one person who has inspired me most to be myself. I am obsessed with everything about him. His voice, his eyes, his words, his lyrics and his music but over the past few months after years of being obsessed with just who he is I find myself becoming less and less obsessed with him, which is shocking even to me but all that I have ever learned from him, the memories, the experiences and the friends and "glamily" I have gained through him are things I will never forget or let go of. I know there will be day were I'm totally gaga obsessed with him again. But one thing I know for a fact whether there is an obsession or no obsession, my love for him will never die.
Another person I find admirable is Chris Colfer(Kurt from Glee) although it hasn't been confirmed or denied if Chris is gay or not(not that it is any of our business) I still find his role of Kurt inspiring which makes him himself inspiring. There needs to be more roles like Kurt and people like Chris in our world it would be really really nice.
PS: his twitter makes me smile.
Speaking of twitter(: I have twitter

This is another person I am like completely gaga over.
Not only does he share the same month and day of birth as me
he has really cool curly hair and pink sunglasses which makes me smile.
But yes. He is yet another person I fell in love with because of their role in glee. But Darren Criss he is a person who I find very interesting. I love how open minded he is from growing up in San Francisco. Being a straight man and playing a gay teenager in a role is beyond inspiring to me. I guess he is just every girls "Teenage Dream" and well Harry Potter (:
